However, numbers without a goal or direction can be sitting ducks. The truth is that there is power in unity! One example I've heard (though it wasn't given from a spiritual standpoint) is that of a laser. Who would have thought that a beam of light could be used to cut steel and titanium? But that beam is powerful because every particle is traveling in the exact same direction. The same number of particles coming from a heat lamp, for instance, would be scattered in many ineffectual directions. The difference is unity. The saying goes that there’s power in numbers.
